Hi all,

I would like to know where I can change the number of cycles "N" defined in ASME B31.1 in Caesar II.

Thank you.

I presume you're talking about "f", the cyclic reduction factor?

If so, there are two places you can define this:
1) In the input, there is a field next to the "hot allowable" field, labeled "f1", "f2", etc. Instead of specifying "f", you can specify a number of cycles.

2) Alternatively, when setting up your Static Load cases, you can click the [Load Cycles] button to expand the dialog. This will let you define the number of cycles on a "per load case" basis.

Richard,

Thank you very much. That is exactly the information that I need.
