Hi,

should we always tick the "allowable stress" box in piping input when making a stress pipe analysis ?

Like many features on the input spreadsheet, the allowable stress is carried forward. You only need to tick or re-enter the value if it changes.

I really can't do that in a Forum, or even via e-mail, these subjects are rather involved. The input into CAESAR II is easy, check the checkbox and fill in some values. As to where to get the values, what they mean, and the proper load case setup - that is when things get more complex.

What Standard are you trying to comply with?
