I work on a project. Its SPEC said for non-critical pipe use approximate method and defines it:

1- Guided cantilever method for "L" shaped pipe work.
2- Developed length method for two anchor piping system.


What is mean of these?

These concepts are covered in almost all text books pertaining to Pipe Stress and Flexibility. Please refer one or better ask your senior.
