Hi friends,
I am performing stress analysis for riser arrangement in CFBC boiler.
The steam drum is Urod supported.
I performed the same analysis using caepipe software. There were deviations when compared to caesar results.

At node in stem drum, where i specified the displacemnt, caesar output showed the fy load almost equal to drum weight with lesser moment, whereas cae pipe software result showed considerable moment at the specified node in steam drum.

Does this mean caesar does not take into account the drum weight for moment calculation. Kindly clarify my opinion and the reasons for deviation. Please guide me with your valuable suggestions.

For the same system, modeled the same way, with the same boundary conditions, both software programs will give you the same answer. If you're getting such drastic differences, the models are different.
