Have modelled some pipelines in caesar 5.2 & without running I've closed the caesar file and when reopens the file ,the modifications done not saved though in between the work saving was done.

Whereas after running the program closing and opening does not cause probs ,modification done are updated.

is that mandatory to run the program once before closing the file. if i remember correctly earlier without running just by saving and closing modification gets updated.

Saving the input (using \File\Save, or clicking the "diskette" toolbar button) should update that file and save any changes you've made. Running the Error Checker will also save the changes made.

If you exiit without saving, then the changes are lost.

The Configuration editor can be used to set 'Autosave Time Interval' (under Miscellaneous Options) which did save your work between the beginning and the end. Default time interval appears to be 30 minutes - maybe you need a shorter interval between saves?
