What are Driplegs in piping systems . what are the relation of Driplegs with Steam traps......... R they installed on same line........N what is Drain pockets ...........?

A drip leg is usually an equal or near equal tee, branch vertically down with a short stub of pipe and a cap. They are placed at locations in a steam system or similar, where condensate pooling might otherwise occur, such as immediately upstream of a vertical expansion loop. A steam trap would be connected to the cap to discharge accumulated liquid.

Drain pockets ... either pretty much the same as a drip leg, or something found in a dodgy pair of trousers.
