Hi everyone,

Recently i have faced a big doubt on performing modal analysis. So i hope that someone help me out because its a major issue to me.

How does Ceaser II dynamic solver deals with spring supports and one direction restraints? Does it remove the one-way restraint and put two-way restraint? Does it remove the hangers?

Thanks!

All nonlinear boundary conditions will be made linear for dynamic analysis. The dynamic input will request a (previously analyzed static)load case (e.g. operating) to set the restraint status for the dynamic analysis. For example, if a +Y support lifts off in the seelcted load case, that Y restraint will not appear in the dynamic analysis; if it's resting, a full Y restraint will be used.
Hanger stiffness is included in dynamic analysis.
