You can get all the pipe, flange etc. information you need from recognised standards. Valve dimensions and weights from vendors.

If you cannot enter it to a Caesar spreadsheet then you should not be using Caesar.

To create (add to) a data base, read the user guide.

Do a little legwork yourelf, don't expect forum members to do it for you.

Dear MoverZ,
Thanks for reply.
i m using B16.47 part B for flanges dimension of size 40".But in B16.47 there is no weight of flanges. And my project is on early stage and no vendor is decided.

I have a catalog in which dimension is given but weight in not not mention there.

what i am doing, just putting 42 in weight in spread sheet.

but each and every time feeding is tough so that i am asking to forum is there any data base in witch i can feed data in once a time.

I have searched this data base feeding problem in CAESAR manual, but nothing found..

I think, my Caesar guide is not complete.

i have modeled two package on Caesar of 40" size. but without confidence.

so that i am asking to forum is there any solution of data base.

thanks for this help.
regrds,

Cruse.

I am surprised you are asking M/Z for assistance after the way you criticized his response on the "Steam Turbine Exhaust line stress analysis" post.

Try Google. All that data is out there somewhere.
I found a company that lists their B16.47 Series B flanges by size and class. This list includes weight. For example their Class 300 40 inch weld neck flange weighs around 900 pounds.
The weights you get out of the CAESAR II valve/flange database are no better.
Standards establish performance requirements and length. Weight varies by manufacturer.
