i want to know vertical pressure vessel top or bottom nozzle direction...
i know direction P, Vc, Vl of horizontal pressure vessel...
but i don't know vertical...
because longitudinal direction of vertical vessel and axial direction of nozzle are the same. vendor dwg show only nozzle allowable load P,Vc,Vl,Mt,Ml,Mc...not direction description...

how know top or bottom nozzle direction of vertical pressure vessel?
please help me...

and how many difference direction of nozzle(P,Vc,Vl)...
if top or bottom nozzle get straight or elbow..

For a horizontal vessel with a nozzle (cylinder/cylinder connection) its importent to know Vc,Vl directions, because the same forces (Vc and Vl)give different result stress in the vessel shell.
For a vertical vessel with nozzle ( top or bottom ) either you have a spherical (top/bottom shell) or a flat plate connection with the nozzle.
Then is a symetric case and Vc,Vl will be same stress results.
Vc,Vl are eqivalent now.
