Does anyone know how the .SOI file is generated please? Can't find it in any of the manuals.

Also does 'Annotation' work for any one? Every thing I try typing into the box appears twice and more frustratingly hitting the backspace button produces two dots only.

The "SOI" file is generated automatically by the "Buried Pipe Modeler". This file contains the "soil data" you define as well as which pipes see which soil. (This file, like most CAESAR II files, is binary. Don't try to tinker with it or you'll corrupt it, which will then cause CAESAR II to crash the next time access is attempted.)


"Graphics Annotation" doesn't work in the 090430 (original) edition of Version 5.20. The problems are as you describe. We are working with the HOOPs Library vendor now obtain a fix for this problem. Hopefully we can get this resolved in the first build to Version 5.20.
