Please Explain the Basi knowledge on loads at pump suction and discharge

please send any good refference material how to calculate the loads on pump nozzles

Dear Ravindra,

1) Find about all the API ( american petroleum institute) standards for different types of pumps and go through them.

2) Read about the different types of pumps ( centrifugal, positive displacement etc), emphasizing on the fundamental fluid mechanics principles behind them ( book by Karassic is an example).

3) WRC bulletin on design and installation of pump piping systems by Vincent Carucci ( find out the buuletin no. which you can easily do through google search) .
