Dear all,

When i propose a guide support in the horizontal line does CAESAR II assumes tht a resting exists without mentioning. I have confusion because when i see in stress isometrics it shows a guide as well as +z support when i have not mentioned it.

This also applicable for vertical lines since it shows +z in stress iso's without usage.

Expecting some good views from u all

No, CAESAR II will not insert a vertical support at this location.

It would be helpful to see that. I suggest you send your model to "techsupport@coade.com" so we can take a look at it.

Vertical lines are treated differently. If the line is truely vertical (direction cosines of 0,1,0 for Y-up or 0,0,1 for Z-up), then inserting a guide gives you two perpendicular restraints in the horizontal plane.
