We have always stated (in the Distribution Letter that accompanies the CD and appears in the front of the User's Guide) that piping input files are upward compatible only. We always state in the letter that piping input files are not downward compatible. If, occasionally, you can take an input file down in version that means for that particular release, the input data structure didn't change. Consider this good fortune.

Hi Richard.

I have tried to do as per the links you have provided. Even I am getting same error like (error processing line no # 71). I tried to compare the difference between generic neutral files (technical reference manual) of both CAESAR 5.0 and CAESAR 5.10 but I could not figure out the difference. Give me your mail id so that I can send my CAESAR 5.10 file to your mail id. Please revert back with detailed procedure to convert CAESAR 5.10 TO CAESAR 5.0 to mail id. Finally please help me in this regard.

Regards
Suresh kumar

Of course you can avoid the whole issue by simply running Version 5.10 - well actually 5.20 (which was released at the end of April).
