I am doing the stresss analysis for the RTRP line connecting with the pumps and i got an query from our client...

The stress analysis shall calculate & check the total maximum stress on the pump flanges (RTRP Flange) in addition to indicating the forces & moments individually and shall compare the ocmbined stresses with the allowable stress.

We performed the analysis and checked the nozzle loads (Forces & Moments) against the API610 and its found well within the limits. but regarding the stresses on the pump flanges, i am unable to get ..

The only flange stresses that CAESAR II will compute for you are in the "Flange Analysis Module", but this is all from ASME Section VIII Division 1 Appendix 2.

As RTRP as much more flexible than steel the forces on the pump nozzles will in most cases be lower than using steel piping (even if the expansion coefficient for RTRP is high) and most steel pumps/equipment will not be overloaded.
Checking the RTRP flange itself is much more difficult. You will have the forces and moments acting on the flange, but to calculate and check the stresses the composition of the flange is very important. How is the flange made? Which layers of reinforcement continue through the complete flange and which are added as seperate extra layers?
Last but not least it's very difficult to get the allowable flange stresses from the manufacturer.
Especially with large diameter flanges you should also carefully consider the gaskets to use.
