Regarding table D-1 of ASME B31.1-2007

How are lateral fabricated fittings addressed. Since SIF's are a function of geometry, I don't believe a straight 'T' will be correct to use. The piping I am working on is using B31.1 so I am restricted to using this code but I have no idea how to treat a 45 deg. lateral connection. My coworker seems to think it will have an SIF of about 6-7. From Caesar, I get an SIF of about 5. Does Casear use a standard tee to calculate this SIF and is it correct?
