Hi guys,
I have only one year of experience in stress analysis field, so please sorry for mty stupid question, but is only a confirm for me.So, the question is:

An expansion Joint absorb only the displacements, and not absorb the force?
So, if I increase the displacement absorbed (increasing the number of convolution) the force decrease?

I hope to explain good my problem.

Thanks in advance.

In piping system we get thermal load because we restrict thermal movement of pipe.
Expansion bellow reduce piping movement restriction stiffness so load also reduce.
By placing more number of convolution we can reduce overall stiffness of bellow hence get better end reaction load.

Thank you Shr,
So,even if I place a bellow with 18( for absurd) convolution, for me is impossible to have a zero reaction load on a nozzle. In any case I will have a reaction load on nozzle, maybe very low, but not zero. Is it truth?

Thanks

There is only one way to get zero reaction on a nozzle and that is, don't connect it to anything.
