Caesar II is a TOOL for the structural analysis of piping systems and auxiliaries. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the piping engineer to develop a representative model of the piping system under evaluation. The flow of fluids will impart forces of varying magnitudes upon the piping. It is possible to calculate the forces on the piping system that result from the flow of fluids through the piping. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the piping engineer to calculate the forces resulting from the interaction of the fluid with the piping and to properly apply these forces in the piping model. These forces are just another of the LOADINGS that must be described in the development of the model.
Wind is also one of the many loadings that must be evaluated. Here again it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the piping engineer to properly represent the wind loading in the piping model. The description of loadings in the model is not something that happens automatically. The capability to apply all the appropriate loadings is included in Caesar II. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the piping engineer to use the tool correctly.
