The "FRC" file is a "time history" output file from a hydraulics program, giving the force verse time profile at designated points in the model. The actual name of the file is up to the user.

I would like to know is it possible for me to create "FRC" file without having pipenet software? Let's assume that I have the force verse time profile data, how do I input it into caesar II for dynamic analysis? Is it by creating a force spectrum?

Regards,
sua

Any file with two columns of data (time in milliseconds and load in current force units) can be read as data in the dynamic input processor. This data can be used as input to the force response spectrum generator (like the FRC files) or directly as time history input.

You do not need PIPENET to build these files.
