in caesar spring menu there is one option called "free restrain node".what does it mean,it is related to spring selection?

If you have a spring near a nozzle, that nozzle will still carry load during the restrained weight case of the "hanger design phase" - which you don't want. The idea is that the hanger carries all the weigth loads.

The only way to accomplish this is to tell CAESAR II to "pretend" that this particular restraint doesn't exist (for the hanger design only). You do that by specifying a node number in the "Free Restraint Node" field, AND by specifying which DOF to free.
