I would like to seek help for everyone about your expertise in using CAESAR II.

I would like to know how to generate forces/moments result in all directions.

For example I have X,Y support @ certain piping point then I want to know the forces or moments in -x,+x, -y,+y / -mx, +mx, -my, +my directions/rotations.

Please help. thank you in advance

I guess that you need forces, moments etc at points otherthan restraints.

From the Output Processor, look in the Global Element Forces Extended Report for internal system forces and moments, also specific loads like axial force and resultant bending, and the Displacements file for displacements and rotations at all points.

Thanks for replying.

I'm sorry, I'm using CAESAR II ver4.5.

I'm interest in restraint reaction @ supports because I want to know which direction has the bigger value. for example +x or -x , +y or -y, etc.

The generating result shows only FX, FY, FZ, MX, MY, MZ in any option like restrain summary, local element forces, global element forces.

Could it be possible to have result in +FX, -FX, +FY, -FY, etc. specifically?

Check the sign of value you are getting. Say you are getting FX -2500N that means its your -FX force. For a particular load case you will get either +FX or -FX , not both at a time. May be for another load case you will get force in other direction.

You can use the MAX and MIN load cases to envelope the load cases. Look at the help options for setup.
