Dear Ama_1,
Caesar II can Analyse a Flange in other to obtain the Stress Analysis & Leak Tightness of the Flange.
Flange Leakage depends on the Gasket, the Flange and the Bolt
The Flange Analysis in Caesar II can be located on the Analysis pull down menu in Caesar II main menu.
To perform this, you have to be versatile with ASME B16.5 & ASME VIII Division 1(Appendix 2 & S)
You will model the Flange with an Anchor and a CNode on the Flange faces.
From the Restraint Summary result of your Static Analysis, you will obtain Fx, Fy, Fz & Mx, My &Mz
One of the Forces will be Axial,(depending on the Global Coordinte) while the associated Moment will be Torsional.
The Bending Moment is obtain by SRSS of the other two Moments.
The obtained Axial Force & Bending Moment are needed for your Flange Leakage Analysis.
All for an ex OZONO.
Cheers
Soj.
