John C. Luf Member Registered: 03/25/02 Posts: 1110 Loc: U.S.A.	SIFS are factors determined based upon fatigue testing and are entirely applicable to fatiuge loads. Collapsing loads such as weight and pressure, and a fittings tendency to decrease the resistance to collpasing loads compared to a straight piece of pipe is not necessarily the same as a SIF. _________________________ Best Regards, John C.
