I analysed ( In CII 5.0) one previous project (analysis was carried out in CII 4.3) with the same input what was in the Input Echo,but in the output i found many variations between these analyis, eventhough the loads are in within the limits, Hanger(Sarathi) results are not matching.

What would we be the reason, beacause of version changes, will the result change ? or any other reason. I verified the two input echo's, no variation in that, but the output results varying. Please clarify.

There could be a number of reasons for the differing results. For example, go to the Users' Manual for Version 5.00, and at the front find the "Distribution Letter" (which says something like here is Ver 5.00 and the major changes are ...). Behind this letter is a detailed list of the additions and enhancements, followed by a page listing Technical Changes that could cause different results for jobs run on previous versions. Some of these changes could be corrects, and some could be Piping Code Changes. We publish this list with each release. Analyzing a 4.30 job on 5.00 means changes could have been made in 4.40, 4.50, or 5.00.

In addition to this list of Technical Changes, as we release "patches" (builds) for a particular version, we list the changes in a file named "build.txt". You can find this (for Version 5.00) off of the Main Menu ("\help\on-line documentation\build.txt").

If you have all four versions of CAESAR II, properly updated, you have all of the lists and documentation, so you can just scan the lists for changes affecting hanger design. If you don't let me know and I'll hunt up this information and e-mail it to you.
