The graphics in latest version 5 of Caesar II is very different than the earlier versions. In ver.4.5, the option of Shift+F12 could allow viewing the plot as a single line diagram same as earlier versions.

Please let me know if similar option is available for ver.5.

The [Shft+F12] was supposed to be a secret, just in case we ran into an older graphics board that wouldn't drive HOOPS.

This isn't necessary any longer, so the old graphics engine has been removed from the software.

What are you trying to do that leads you to believe that you need the old engine?

What I am refering is now i am use to the graphics for all previous versions we were using i.e from 4.1 till 4.5. Now suddenly a 3D graphics is introduced which is a bit difficult to adopt. Hence, is there any option in CII ver 4.5 by which we can have the similar graphics which was available in previous versions.

The HOOPS graphics were introduced in Version 4.20 (Feb 2000), as a direct result of users requesting more graphics capability. At that time (Ver 4.20), these new graphics were not complete, but we did state that this is the direction the software was going. Version 4.30 and 4.40 vastly improved these new graphics, and with Version 4.50 we felt the new graphics were more capable than our own (old, in-house) library. So in Version 4.50 we moved the HOOPS graphics to the forefront and hid the old graphics (just in case, as mentioned above). With Version 5.00 the old graphics have been removed.
