When doing analysis i usually consider

Sustained + stress Report
+ Restrain summary
+ Displacement
Operating + Restraint summary
+ Displacement
Expansion + Stress
+ Restraint summary
+ Displacement

In steam piping analysis always both temperature and pressure will be considered, so our analysis purpose whether i can consider the Expansion condition or not, bcoz in one of my main steam analysis resultant load & moment at the end of the nozzel is exceding thant the allowable value in the expansion condition only. kindly clarify whether i can consider expansion for my analysis, bcoz expansion condition depends only on temperature.

As it says in the code,
Code stresses have no relationship to reality.

If you are looking at expansion as a range calculation (as CAESAR II recommends), its intended use is to calculate a stress range as defined in the Code. (I would refer to the other two loads - sustained & operating - as "states" instead of "ranges".)

Structural response should be evaluated for each "state" but need not (in my opinion) be evaluated for "ranges".

Example - a pump nozzle may be limited to +/- 1000. You could have a cold load of -600 and hot load of +600 and everyone's happy. But if you happen to look at the expansion case, the number is 1200. That range exceeds the limit but that's not relevant.
