Hi, I have encounter problem pertaining to correct SIF for bend used by Caesar2 under B31.3 code.

ex. elbow 90deg, radius:610mm, thickness of attached pipe:4.8mm, & outside dia. of pipe: 406.4mm

CAESAR II used are SIFi:2.93580, SIFo:2.44650.

when using "bend SIF scracthpad" in piping input dialog box, it calculate different value and I think this is correct than the above values.

I don't know why CAESAR II used wrong values & I checked all the setting all about SIF of bend and it seems everything is okey..

Does anybody experience the same error?

My CAESAR II ver is C2_4.50_050407.

Check the note (in Appendix D) on the effects of pressure. This will modify both the SIF and flexibility factor.
