Dear all,

I found question about relief valve that follow;
I have 2 relief valve, 10"-300#, installed on top of drum. The outlet of 2 relief pipe are combined to 1 header pipe and flow to silencer. There are 5-6 elbow in this system.
Question is which point is suitable for input the reaction force from 2 relief valve.
1.1. At the first elbow from each relief valve and force is 1 time of each relief valve or
1.2 At the last elbow in header pipe before blow to silencer with force 2 time of each relief valve.

Remark: 2 relief valve have the same properties. and force was calculated from API 520.

In this 2 cases we found problem about support loacation, size of support and nozzle load.
