Good day!

I am a new user of CAESAR II, usually we use AUTOPIPE software. I found a little bit differences between the two softwares this includes:
---My concern is about the type of flanges and SIF of each flanges that connects to the valves. Do CAESAR II have an option of what type of flanges to be used on each valves (i.e. weld neck, slip on, lap joint, etc.) because each type have different weight and SIF. Also this option is very much important if their will be a pipe class break between valves and flanges. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Ian

CAESAR II doesn't care what type of flange you have. All you need is the weight and length, and to set the flag that the element is rigid.

If you want to apply an SIF to the connecting pipe, you can do so - CAESAR II won't do this by default.
