Need advise from all of you, for Sy value in CII 2018 Version and compare with Old Versions.

Example : A671-CC65 Hydro Test Stress Sy.

CII Version 2018 = Do not show Sy values. However SH1, SH2 xxx are the correct data.

CII Version 2017 = Shows data of Sy values but different than ASME Code 31.3 2016. The value shall be 241 Mpa, however, CII 2016 reflects Sy = 221 Mpa


Questions :
1) What could be the reasons ?
2) Checked Material Data base (EDIT) at 364 Number. There is no SY values. however in Version 2016 and Version 2017 below HOT ALLOWABLE STRESS column, Sy values are reflecting and CII Check Hydro Test also.
3) Do we need to input Manual value of "Sy" ?

Is it our Installation Error from IT Group or CII Material data base have inside error. ?
What may be the reason "Default" values are not showing particular few materials of PIPING? These materials are Spec No Type / Grade Piping.

3) Also, difference between CII version 2017 and CII Version 2018 in Codes ? Since, Codes between 2014 and 2016 have no changes.


Could expect reply and assistance on early stage ?

Appreciated your expert's assistance.

Material => EDIT MATERIAL => put Number 364 (A671 CC65).
There is no Yield Stress in all 3 versions CII 2016, 2017 & 2018.

However, CII 2016 / 2017 below Hot allowable stress (Input Spread Sheet) - "Sy" Values are reflecting and CII even calculating as Allowable Stresses. But CII 2018 is blank and CII not calculating.

There are no yield values in the database for material 364 (in either 2017 or 2018). This could be a value typed into your input, and subsequently duplicated forward by the software.

Dear Richard,

The error and required next action from CII Technical team already have highlighted. This error from CAESAR started from Version 2016 onwards.

I believed it is under working at CII Team to resolve.
