I was wondering if anybody knows of a way to edit multiple fields in the list input at the same time. Every time I run the Underground Pipe Modeler, the generated input file has the "Pipe Density", "Fluid Density", "Cladding Density", "Insul/Clad Unit Weight", and "Refractory Density" columns defined for nearly every element in the model, including elements that weren't designated as buried. So, if I want to change one of those fields for a particular run of pipe, I need to go into the list and clear every field I want to change and it's getting tedious.

Does anybody know of a way to circumvent this issue?

Thanks!

I'm not sure this will help any, but the intended workflow is to modify the un-buried pipe file and re-bury the pipe and run again, particularly if you're making changes to underground piping.

The expectation would then be you shouldn't have to modify these values after burial of the pipe.

May I ask what the intent is for changing these values?

Thank you for your response! I suppose that would make sense as a workflow. I might just rely on that in the future.

To be clear, I don't intend on changing the properties of the buried pipe. It's just that running the underground pipe modeler also affects the above-ground pipe. So, if I need to add or change the insulation on the above-ground pipe, for example, I would need to cycle through each individual element to add, remove, or change the insulation. It was just getting tedious.

If the solution is "don't change the buried pipe model", then that's what I'll do moving forward. Thanks for the help!

Or maybe you can have the part of underground pipe into another Caesar file and you only attach to the main file composed by aboveground pipe, but not include into the main file.
