Could anyone recommend me a book explain and contain charts and equation for expansion loop and loads on anchor for simple system so I can hand solve?

Most of the EPC company's have their in house guidelines for Expansion Loop calculations. If you want to have some idea how computer beam element software such as Caesar II works, I would suggest a book entitled "Matrix Analysis of Structures". You can do some simple piping configuration problem then compare the results with Caesar II. It's a bit tedious in the start, but at the end you can gain confidence in what you are doing. Then time will come that you do not need to do manual calculation because it's much faster to do it through computers. Although I would still encourage all the newbies to start from the basic fundamentals to have a strong foundation of the physics behind stress analysis.
