Dear Stressers
I have maybe stupid question but I don't have idea how to do this.
Now I working on the steam system.
This system connected two buildings and I have a long part of piping on the rack.

On the rack part I must add a uniform load and wind load so I started on first point outside.
This part I have done.
Unfortunately when I add in in point 600 I have this load from this point to end of instalation.
So my question is:

How to impelment a loads only for a part of piping system for example from Node 580 to 1230 ??
Thanks for Help

Wind Load

Select the element from which you want to remove WIND loads and make it "OFF" OR shape factor = 0 in the Wind Loads tab.

Uniform loads

Select the element from which you want to remove Uniform loads. Go to Uniform loads tab and enter all uniform loads as ZERO.

Hope this helps...

There are many posts in this Forum on the topic of "convergence" and how to resolve this problem. (You can use the [Search] button in the upper right to find these earlier posts.)

If you're having issues with YRODs, you can try adjusting their convergence parameters in the configuration. Just remember that if you change anything in the configuration that will change the results, you must pass through input and error checking for the change to take effect.
