ErfanGH Member Registered: 04/13/15 Posts: 2 Loc: Canada	While the code is ASME B31.1, but it seems to me that CII gets the SIF for branch acc. to ASME III. Is that correct? Richard Ay Member Registered: 12/13/99 Posts: 6226 Loc: Houston, Texas, USA	B31.1 includes a separate equation for the branch SIF, if certain geometric conditions are met. This looks like your situation. You would not apply the same SIF to the header elements. (See Appendix D for details.) _________________________ Regards, Richard Ay - Consultant
