Hi All,

I'm modeling a portion, section, of a long gas pipeline. I modeled all the restraints and pipe components but I'm not sure how can I model both ends of the pipe which are connected to rest of the pipeline. Should I show anchors or limits on both ends?

Thank you,
Jason

One rule of thumb is to model past your last point of interest and cross 3 restraints. This should be sufficient (typically) to isolate the section of piping you're interested in.

(Caution is warranted any time you apply a "rule of thumb".)
