Hello to all,

I am working on CAESAR II 2013R1, ver 6.10. with window 7.
In this version measuring distance between nodes via keyboard control (alt+D) doesnt work many times.
I converted files from .cii to CAESAR II file. Initially measuring command from keyboard works, but suddenly this command fails.
then i have to use GUI option to measure distance (Edit+Distance).

Why it is happening or is there are some setting that has to be enabled.

Regards

See if the option "Reset Layouts to Default" works for you. You can find this menu option under \Tools on the Main Menu.

Certain Commands (and therefore their corresponding shortcut) only work if they Window in which they operate has the focus. So if the graphics window has the focus, shortcuts that affect the spreadsheet are ignored. Likewise, if you bring up the LIST and it has the focus, shortcuts that address the spreadsheet and the graphics are ignored.

A "window" gets "focus" when you click on a control or object in that window.
