I have some queries regarding WRC107/297 module of C-II.


My first query

When we are checking the stresses using WRC297 radio tab button, only sustain load are required. Other loads (expansion & occasional loads) are not required for correct results?






My second query

Which load case required to be put in expansion case?

Whether operating load or pure expansion load?



My third query

When we are using WRC 107/297 module, we have to give centreline directional cosines of vessel as well as nozzle for accurate results.

How to give +ve or –Ve directional cosine for vessel as well as nozzle. (I am confused in C-II, F1 help)






My fourth query

When we are using WRC 107/297 module, graphical representation of load direction is given for which load case (whether it is for sustain, expansion or occasional)?

Read this previous thread, it will answer most of your questions.

For the Expansion Case, use the Expansion results from CAESAR II.

For the cosines, just use positive or negative values as necessary.

For plotting, use the drop-list to select which loading condition is plotted.
