HI friends

i have got high temperature steam system with operating temperature of 500 degre and ambient is 21 deg .
as per ASME 31.1 the allowable stress for sustained stress is SH,
but in my case, caesar out put is showing allowable less than than SH ( but in occasional case the allowable is showing 1.2sh)

since my sustained stress is showing at taping point(weldolet),is there any factor to be multiplied at connection point while caesar calculating the allowable stress for connection point in sustained case ?

By the lack of immediate response, it's probably clear that the cause is not obvious.
Can you build a small job that illustrates your point? Please post that model here along with your configuration file.

The answer is likely the "weld reduction" factor ...
