Hello,

Please see the attachment

For this pump configuration how to fix the pump centre point of expansion in axial direction.
This is to calculate the nozzle displacement in axial direction of the pump

Please clarify

Thanks

You are going to have to ask the pump manufacturer which of the two pump body supports is the fixed support and which is the sliding support.

My guess is that the pump body support that is on the centetrline of the suction is the fixed support.

I agree with Jop as you need to confirm with vendor. But what I've seen is most vendors (for such type of pump configuration) prefer fixing the support in vicinity of the shaft as Fixed support so that least thermal displacements occur at the coupling.

However, you need to confirm with vendor.Alternatively, you may consider the fix support as suggested (as this may yield conservative results) & proceed till concrete data arrives at your desk!!!
