Hello

I have a problem with the piping input. I have the same pipe in two different files so I want to set up continuity between themselves.

Some people said you can get the displacements from one of the files in the point of conection and you put them into de same pipe in the second file. I'm not convinced at all...
What's the correct way to conect the files?
I hope you understand my query
Thanks
Carlos

Hello

I read about decoupling but I still have a lot of doubts...I have to "cut" the pipe in two files because it's very big ( It's pipe from a big solar field) So, I can't use the inertia criteria and I can't put the displacements in the small pipe...

What can I do?

thanks

C

You should stop at an anchor point. If it is an three way restraint or a limit stop, you should extend the calculation up to a point you do not have anymore influence from the other side (e.g. the first next guide).

Same thing for the other calculation.
