Hello all,

There is no doubt about the CAESAR II analysis report generation capability and its authenticity. It is widely accepted all over the globe. But I wanted to know that if the isometric drawing generated by CAESAR II is all perfect or they still use for a reference purposes(node numbers guidance), cause I am getting some differences with the actual one when I use isogen with CAESAR II. Mostly I get differences in dimensions and near bends with large models. Clients get after us seeing differences with actual one. Surprisingly input is all correct. Do anybody experienced the same before? Can moderators comment on this?

Tell the client to NOT to refer to any dimensions on the STRESS ISO smile

However, They can use other informations which comes out correctly such as SUPPORT TYPE, RESTRAINT LOADS, HANGER LOADS or DISPLACEMENTS etc.

This is my opinion, however, as I even have experienced some dimensioning issues, where in Flange thickness are not being considered.

We have seen dimension problems on bends, usually with regards to nodes with a 9 suffix placed at the 45 point of the bend. Turning those nodes off typically clears up the issue. We do include a disclaimer stating that the drawings are not for construction and are to be used as a cross reference with the calc for node nomenclature only.

The latest C2Isogen update listed on eCustomer (posted 11/16/11) includes significant improvements to the C2Isogen functionality. If you have not already done so, you can download and install this update today to take advantage of the latest CAESAR II developments.
