We have been using CAESAR II 5.30 build 101122 without any problems and after updating to build 110830 we are facing the below problems

1) After creating a ".C 2" file in CAESAR II SP2 build 110830 while reopening we cannot locate the ".C 2" file by default need to select the file type as pre 5.0 and locate.

2) Temporary files associated with ".C 2" files are not getting deleted after exit in build 110830.

3) Also the recommended case for a ".C 2" file gives an error as enclosed.

Please guide us to resolve the above said issues.

Regards,
Prakash.

1+2) There is an option in the Configuration, on the Miscellaneous pane, to turn off the zipping of the component files into the ".C 2" archive. Check this setting.

3) Again check the Configuration, on the Database pane, for the location of the \System directory (the "Alternate CAESAR II Distributed Data Path") and the setting for the "Load Case Template" file. Make sure both of these are set to their default values (unless of course you've changed them purposefully).

Richard,

Thanks for the solution provided for the query 1 & 2 and it has been resolved.

Whereas the recommended load case template issue still persists after resetting to default value.

We have reinstalled CAESAR II 5.3 but the recommended load case still remains the same as enclosed in my previous post.

Regards

Prakash

You need to file an SR (Support Request) through eCustomer, so the Support Group can look at your machine.
