I just want to clarify modeling bracket supports on vertical vessel. When I model vessel I use rigid elements without weight but I put diameter, wall thickness,temp...etc
For nozzles I create rigid element from center of the vessel to starting point of nozzle. Than I create nozzle as pipe with real diameter, sch, and put anchor with c node to the end node of rigid where nozzle starting. I have allowable loads for nozzles and that must be verified. That is clear for me. This is stripper column connected with piping to reboiler. Each vessel has their own structure where is installed, temperature is 200°C and thermal movement for both vessels are big. I just want to be sure about best way how to present support for this vertical vessel. I can put in the middle of column node, put restraints. Is this enough accurate.
In attachment is CAESAR II file of vessel.
