I have one basic doubt. In frp system, what i have to select FRP laminate type...

Is this error affects the result for the same other values( like axial modulus...poison ratio)

Laminate type is defined by the BS 7159 Code:
Type 1 – All chopped strand mat (CSM) construction with an internal and an external surface tissue reinforced layer.
Type 2 – Chopped strand mat (CSM) and woven roving (WR) construction with an internal and an external surface tissue reinforced layer.
Type 3 – Chopped strand mat (CSM) and multi-filament roving construction with an internal and an external surface tissue reinforced layer.
This type is used in calculating the flexibility and stress intensification factors for piping bends.

A FRP laminate type will have effects on mechanical properties, say axial modulus. Even if assuming the properties are the same, the stress analysis should be different since SIFs and flexibility factors for bends are different for different FRP laminate types. For detailed information, please refer to “Section Four(4) and Section Seven(7) of BS 7159”.
