Dear Caesar users,

I would like to perform a static seismic analysis, for example x g´s=0.6, y g´s=0.6, z g´s=0.6
I have anchor displacements (entire pipe model is situated upon the building, cca +40 m )

At certain nodes(in my case 3) I have to add thermal displasements into the anchorsor another kind of restrains
ex:
node 10
therml displ:
dx=-108 mm
dy=49 mm
dz= -140 mm

and in the same time the displacements of the building at node(anchor)10
dx=50 mm
dy=0.6 mm
dz=11.5 mm
this are the displacements of the building due to the seismic acceleration in X direction (vector D4), this mean that I will have next two vectors D5 and D6 in Y respectively Z direction

at node 10, I generated a Cnode 11, and I created four vectors at this node, D1-thermal displ. and D4,D5,D6 building seis. displ.

Here are the load cases for X direction:

OPE: W+D1+T1+P1+H
SUS: W+P1+H
OPE: W+D1+D4+T1+P1+H+U1
OPE: W+D1-D4+T1+P1+H-U1
EXP: L1-L2 Algebraic
OCC: L3-L1 Algebraic
OCC: L4-L1 Algebraic
OCC: L6,L7 MAX

perhaps there will be a need of snubbers, or limit stops...what is better to use?
Can you tell me pleas if my approach is correct or not?
I forgot to say that I m a fresh graduate...:-)

Thank you!
