In 5.00 ver we had an option called 'element' that has helped us in many ways like calculating slopes but now in 5.20 ver its not there can you please help in this matter.

Nothing has been removed.

Are you talking about the "direction cosines" dialog box? If so, double click the chevron symbol to the upper right of the "DX" field.
