As far as I know CAESAR II is not certified for nuclear applications.
I would say the first item is to read the specifications applicable for the unit/line to be analysed. In the specifications the exact code and year is given. In addition there should be exact details which calculations are required.
These specification issues are critical. You have to know exact edition and code. For instance we are building one to RCC-M 2000 plus 2002 addenda. There are much later versions. Not allowed. In addition there are customer specifications. Have to use one specific edition. Same applies to governement regulations. Have to know specific edition to use. Then ofcause there are conflicts between the specs. Have to ask clarification. Wait for an answer upto 6 months.
Don't be surpriced if you find out that you have to do the analysis with a software you cannot get, if you get it it may not run on your operating system. If you manage to solve these then you may find out that you need to have specific training... List is endless.
In my case I have to read hundreds of documents in French English, German English and Finnish English but not too much in English. Happy reading.
