Dear Friends

I'm handling a job (40" Flare header and it's 45° pipe to pipe connections)
And D/T ratio is greater than 100. I could not find any expressive direction on this case(in forum). any FEA Soft is not accessible for me.
The CAESAR II calculated SIF's are:

Code

Sifh(o) 12.668
Sifh(i) 9.751
Sifh(t) 1.000

Sifb(o) 12.668
Sifb(i) 9.751
Sifb(t) 1.000

When I go through Analysis\SIF's @ Intersections
The result are as follows:

Code WRC 329 ASME III SCHNEIDER

Sifh(o) 12.668 3.007 12.668 12.668
Sifh(i) 9.751 3.007 9.751 9.751
Sifh(t) 1.000 1.000 1.000 1.000

Sifb(o) 12.668 4.724 12.668 12.668
Sifb(i) 9.751 3.691 9.751 9.751
Sifb(t) 1.000 1.262 1.000 1.000

A noticeable difference between WRC329 And the others.

My questions are:

-Does D/T>100 restriction apply for WRC329, Schneider,ASME III?
if not can WRC329 or Schneider or ASME be used for D/T>100?

-What can be done for my second problem (45° reinforced branch )?

-Can such geometries (D/T>100 & 45° reinforced branch) be modeled by WRC297 and be stress checked by WRC107 without using SIF?

Thank you in advance &I really welcome any similar experience or any direction?

Regards
Odysseus
