Hello all,

I have a piping system in which the movement of a node is ascending. I would like to diminish the forces in a close nozzle to this node. To disminish the forces and knowing that the movememt of the node is ascending, it would need a spring making force in (-Y) direction.
How I can do that?

I have been searching in the help but I havenīt find nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jorge MB
Your question is not so clear.
Are you asking if you have to use spring when pipe at that point move up in operating condition still you want that point to take load otherwise there will be more load at close by nozzle ?
If that is the question yes using spring is one solution.
Sometime you can avoid spring also by some adding flexibility. Say you add one more elbow there, maybe that additional elbow could act as load taking support. Even if you can increase length between nozzle & support location, some times it helps.

Habib
