I am analyzing a line with the pressure of 40 kg/cm^2.
I wanted to check the nozzles with WRC 297.
so I import the loads from my file to the wrc.
when I saw the result I saw that the nozzle is failed in the sustain case and it is just because of the internal pressure of the line.
but when I run the caesar file and i looked at the stress report the maximum hoop stress ratio was so less!!
if the line has got problem with this pressure, should not I get a hint from the stress report?
or it is just the effect of the pressure thrust on the nozzles?

Does your WRC297 report indicate that the proimary stress failure is in the nozzle or in the shell to which it is attached? Typically, a CAESAR II report would not list shell stress.
If it is the nozzle, are you sure the cause is hoop stress? Perhaps it is the calculated thrust load due to pressure. Such a thrust load, too, would not typically be included in the CAESAR II analysis.

It seems that you may have checked the box to include the pressure thrust or you may have included Pressure Stress Indices. Otherwise the pressure stress should be same as the hoop stress from CAESAR II.

because we can not see the effect of that in caesar reports,so we have to consider it.

That's why there is a "checkbox" there in the input, sometimes you need to include pressure thrust and sometimes you don't. It depends on the relation between your piping and restraints. Refer to the attached document for guidelines.
