Can any body help me in exporting file from cadowrks plant and then importing it in caesar for stress analysis?
i see the caesar option in cadowrk plant accessories but it exports the file in *CAESAR II while when we open any file in caeser it has extenion of _a or str.

You are correct. CADWorx Plant will create a CAESAR II file and that file's extension will be "dot C 2". (This forum will automatically convert a C and a 2 with no space between to the name CAESAR II.)

I must assume from your question that your version of CAESAR II cannot open that "dot C 2" file. Since Version 5.00, CAESAR II reads that "dot C 2" file. I suggest upgrading.

The latest version of CADWorx can create a CAESAR II file of type 4.40, 4.50, 5.00, or 5.10. This is designated by setting the CAESAR II Version variable in the CADWorx configuration file. I'm not sure if you can go all the way back to 4.20.

(You realize that from a "Piping Code" point of view, your CAESAR II is "seriously" out of date - right?)

CADWorx has a menu option for "CAESAR II Stress Iso". After that, what's your question?

Yes, use the "Annotation" option, and then select the output you want.
